Miloš Krasić

[edit]

Why do you continue to change my revision? Miloš Krasić was born in Kosovska Mitrovica. He was born in 1984, which means Kosovska Mitrovica was under Yugoslavia. Post Yugoslavia, Kosovska Mitrovica did in fact belong to Serbia & Montenegro. After the dissolution of that, it was a part of Serbia. But, since the declaration of independence by Kosovo, Kosovska Mitrovica is currently a part of the Republic of Kosovo. Hence, there is 2 options I feel. Either put down he was born in Yugoslavia or Kosovo. Why you continue to change it back is beyond me. I thought you were some diehard Serbian, but apparently you're Mexican, LMAO. jnyce216 (talk)

The short answer: You are adding/changing poorly sourced information on a WP:BLP and adding your own personal analysis. TbhotchTalk C. 20:55, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How is it personal analysis? The follow excerpt is straight from the Kosova Mitrovica page:

"Kosovska Mitrovica (Albanian; Mitrovicë or Mitrovica, Serbian: Косовска Митровица or Kosovska Mitrovica; Turkish: Mitroviça), is a city and municipality in northern Kosovo[a]. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous district."

That does say Northern Kosovo....right? NOT Serbia, thanks. Facts are facts. Please make the necessary changes.

Wikipedia is not a WP:reliable source, also it should be a reference that states that Krasić is from Kosovo or Yugoslavia. TbhotchTalk C. 21:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please make those changes then or perhaps revise the current Kosovska Mitrovica and Miloš Krasić articles? How can one page state that Kosovska Mitrovica is in Serbia and the other state it is in Northern Kosovo? And how are my changes considered vandalism?! Do you know ANYTHING about the Balkans. It doesn't seem so..I'm not all too familiar with Wikipedia, but apparently you're a whiz at it, so could you please make the necessary changes. Thanks, again! Also, please explain your side. Why do you think it should state that he was born in Serbia? Jnyce216 (talk) 21:14, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict) He born in 1984, and Kosovo is a country since 2008, so he could not be Kosovan. TbhotchTalk C. 21:15, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, that's understandable. But, in 1984, Kosovska Mitrovica was under the Yugoslavia. It's even noted under his "Personal Information": Place of birth Kosovska Mitrovica, SFR Yugoslavia. Please make the necessary changes. Jnyce216 (talk) 21:24, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
