Hello. I just wanted to stop by and personally apologize to you if you felt I was biting the newcomer. People often mistake my desire to be thorough in my expressed thougts with being abrupt or rude, and that's never been my intent. I have attempted to explain some of the nuances relating to this matter a few different times in a few different settings, and I can never tell when I'm dealing with a newcomer vs. when I'm dealing with a longer-term editor with more familiarity on such matters. I wanted to post this talk page message to you to let you know that if you have any other questions for me about anything I've said in interacting with you, you can ask them by responding to this message here. You could also post any specific questions on any of this on new threads on my talk page. We have to tread very carefully when dealing with nuances relating to policy, because if we don't follow the correct procedures, we won't be able to create long-lasting and effective fixes for all the issues involved.
