Silva/Chonan
[edit]I have seen the fight multiple times. I disagree that Silva was winning, but that's not the point. That's not the text that *I* put up. I don't know who put it up; I didn't write the article. I was reviewing the changelog and saw an original research and non-neutral point of view edit to the article and I reverted it. Your point about the original article text is good, so I copyedited the paragraph a bit to improve it.
FYI, many editors do not always read all of the surrounding paragraphs in an edit. Using editing tools like popups and Twinkle, I can get a brief breakdown of the changelog to an article. Sometimes, that will mean that I end of reverting an edit that may have been unconstructive but reverting to older text that was equally unconstructive. If that happens, I generally try to correct the underlying issue in the article if it's brought to my attention. Try to assume good faith when dealing with other editors.
Also, it's helpful when adding notes to another user's talk page to use the "+" box up at the top, which will create a new section at the bottom of the talk page for you to edit. It makes it much easier to read through the posted messages. Signing your comments with "~~~~" will also make it easier to see who's trying to say what, and helps with readability.
Please, continue to contribute and make Wikipedia better. Happy editing. Tuckdogg (talk) 03:52, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
