Outline Feedback

[edit]

Hi Jas,

This will be a great page, though as you pointed out, it should probably be broken down into California Water Fix and Eco Restore. Is this how you and Bethany will divide up the work?

Peer review

[edit]

Lead In: Your lead in was direct and to the point. I could definitely tell what the article was going to be about. It also had a nice flow to it which made it easy to understand and follow. Clear Structure: The structure was adequate. I would suggest maybe using subheadings to elude to what you will be talking about in each section. This will be easier as you finalize and finish up the article. Balanced Coverage: I don't know what to say about this one. I think maybe as you finish up the article you will say more about the Eco Restore part. As it is now, it tends to lean toward the tunnel part. I know that someone else is also doing this article so if he/she is covering the Eco Restore information my comment will be moot. Neutral Content: I could not tell from your writing what your stance on the topic would be. That is great! I did notice that much of your information came for the Sac Bee. The owners of that paper are outspoken politically so some reviewers could see a problem if you don't balance that with other non-political sources. Reliable Sources: I think all of your sources are reliable. I would suggest that you make certain that you have sources that both oppose and support the tunnels.
