Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:48, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Does that mean I'm guilty? thank you Iylaq (talk) 06:55, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your actions were against policy, see WP:3RR. You were no more at fault than the other party but they had a dynamic IP, so it was difficult to communicate with them. On another occasion, try to discuss the issues on the article talk page or on the user's talk page. If they then continue, report them at an appropriate noticeboard or seek page protection as appropriate. In this instance, you can make a comment on the edit warring noticeboard if you wish. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:49, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I'm sorry I only reverted anonymous edits because I really don't like their edits Iylaq (talk) 09:16, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm JellyMan9001. I noticed that you recently removed content from Al-Baraʼ ibn ʽAzib without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. JellyMan9001 (talk) 03:55, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello regarding the reason I removed it because the content has references to shianews.com and al-islam.org. and that if you are a Muslim and understand the history of shia that the shia is a different group from islam from its teachings for example in their book it is stated that their imams are more important than prophets and angels, then they have taqiyyah teachings that is if they are with other shia groups , in terms of worship they will be the same. but if they (Shia) are with the Sunni group then they will hide their teachings or in other words they will adapt it. and so does the shianews and al-islam websites, if you look at the websites they are shia. namely from the side of the name then look at the article, for al-islam if you look at the article they mention figures such as Husayn and after mentioning their name for the Shia after their Husayn name (Shia) add the title a.s. This is an excessive respect for the Shia even those who worship it. So the conclusion is that the Shia are heretical and different from the teachings of Islam. and if you can speak Indonesian I will give a reference that the al-islam.org website is a shia website. if you can't then you can translate it from Indonesian to English. and also the Shia like to curse the companions of the Prophet, the Ummahat al-Mu'minin. thank you Iylaq (talk) 05:03, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Al-Baraʼ ibn ʽAzib, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. JellyMan9001 (talk) 16:43, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Apaugasma: I think this article should also be deleted because the content can be said to be minimal, for example the year of his death is not mentioned in the article, and his son's wife is also not mentioned in the article. Iylaq (talk) 11:42, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Iylaq, great that we agree then! The article will be deleted by an admin if no one opposes the proposal. If you wish, you can make the admin's work easier by endorsing the proposal for deletion: just add {{Proposed deletion endorsed|comment=A comment}} to the pages, filling in your own comment for "A comment".
