Would love some feedback on Draft:Paranjape Schemes
Hey @HighKing! How have you been? I would love some of your inputs on this draft i have been working on. I'll be getting access to some book sources for the company by the end of this week, but for now I have expanded it with some marathi newspaper sources i came across at the library. it's probably far from ready for submission, but I'd like to know if i'm headed in the right direction. thanks for taking the time to suggest improvements, i'm sure you're quite busy! - Hi @HighKing, you may archive this request. It is not necessary anymore as I felt the need to revert the page to a stub for now. I have since decided to semi-retire my account due to personal issues, but I hope to be back to edit the draft someday. Thanks. Bye. AngryMushroom (talk) 15:08, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
A question
Thank you for expanding the source analysis chart at Zetwerk' AfD discussuon and giving a proper direction to it. I always refer to your Simplilearn AfD reasoning for the assessment. But, I've one question.. shall we/can we consider analyst reports' of unlisted companies? - Hatchens (talk) 03:27, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Hatchens, simple answer, Yes. I'd go further and say that IMHO analyst reports writing about a company are the absolute best reference possible. HighKing++ 11:03, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you. Got it. But those IMHO reports have to satisfy WP:RSP list or reports published as an book with ISBN/ISSN numbers? Any particular authority control/identifiers which we can use it as yardstick? -Hatchens (talk) 13:04, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Hatchens, nope, RSP is not an exclusive list and you will find that respectable analyst reports meet the criteria for WP:CORPDEPTH. Occasionally an analyst report will have a disclaimer that the information about a particular company was gleaned from a PRIMARY source with no fact-checking but those are rare and therefore most reports also meet WP:ORGIND. In my opinion, analyst reports are some of the best references you can find for establishing notability. HighKing++ 19:38, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
