It Takes a Rim Village - Oregon COTW
Greetings WikiProject Oregon member, time for the next edition of the Collaboration of the Week. Thanks to those who assisted in improving a few articles over the last month. For May Day edition of the COTW (in Wikipedia time its May already), we have by request Rim Village Historic District and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (AKA OMSI). Rim Village just needs some refinement to get to GA, while OMSI needs a lot of work in general. As always, click here to opt out of these messages, or click here to make a suggestion for a future COTW. Adios (on May 5th that is). Aboutmovies (talk) 04:54, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of List of 2006 Seattle Mariners draft picks (Closed as Keep)
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of 2006 Seattle Mariners draft picks. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of 2006 Seattle Mariners draft picks. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:03, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

The information you added about where he lives and the name of his wife is not supported by the link you provided. Please correct that, or it will have to be removed as a BLP violation. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 05:19, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I wasn't trying to assume bad faith, I thought you had made a mistake. Adding a person's place of residence and spouse's name without a reliable source does seem, to me, to be a BLP violation. However, I do apologize, once you've explained that. I couldn't even FIND the bio tag till I did a search for it on the page. It's pretty well hidden, but it does seem to be a reliable source. Once again, sorry. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 05:36, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I misworded my comments. I wans't making any accusation against you, it was the sourcing that concerned me. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 06:04, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
I finished up the review, posted it at the talk page. Article is currently on hold, it was a good read, good luck making a few improvements, and let me know if anything is unclear.Canada Hky (talk) 03:22, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Incorrect categorization
Hey, I just noticed that you categorized your user pages User:Halvorsen brian/Donald Hume (baseball), User:Halvorsen brian/Anthony Varvaro and User:Halvorsen brian/Jacob Wild. Can you removed the categories on those pages and I would also delete them as well since their pages have been created. – Michael (talk) 22:22, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, for right now I'm just blanking them. I have to go through and clean them all out so I'll do that all at once. Thanks for the heads-up. If you ever see any cats in my sandbox again, you have permission to delete them. --Brian Halvorsen (talk) 06:11, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
