Sourcing
[edit]Blogs and Goodreads are not reliable sources. DuncanHill (talk) 23:27, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @DuncanHill And what about the third source? To the book that is already accepted as a reliable source in the references already? --Gwikor Frank (talk) 00:43, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- @DuncanHill Not to mention the fact that Bernard Deacon's website is not a blog, but a collection of articles by a former head of the Institute of Cornish Studies! --Gwikor Frank (talk) 00:43, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

- Having had this explained to me, apparently this was absolutely me! I do apologise, it seems I've misread the entire thing. Thanks for trying to point it out to me, sorry I was too confused to notice! Gwikor Frank (talk) 20:15, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editingâespecially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's workâwhether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each timeâcounts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warringâeven if you do not violate the three-revert ruleâshould your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Nationality
[edit]Further to your numerous edits, please note that Cornish is not a nationality. Do not change people's nationality's from English or British to Cornish. - SchroCat (talk) 15:22, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Further to YOUR Numerous reverts 1) Cornish IS a nationality: https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/people-and-communities/equality-and-diversity/cornish-national-minority/ 2) See discussion and consensus reached here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Teahouse#Kernow Gwikor Frank (talk) 15:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I will be reporting you at ANI for disruption. I strongly suggest you stop now. - SchroCat (talk) 15:34, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- You are the one disrupting! We've come to a consensus already and YOU are the one saying Cornish isn't a Nationality, which it IS: https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/people-and-communities/equality-and-diversity/cornish-national-minority/ Gwikor Frank (talk) 15:35, 12 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit]You are making some good points in an unnecessarily combative and divisive fashion. Your grudge against the British Empire does not justify that behavior. Please consider this a warning that I (or another administrator) will block you if this disruptive behavior continues. I hope that it doesn't come to that because I think that you have a lot to offer. Cullen328 (talk) 20:36, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am genuinely not trying to be combative, but honestly this isn't the first time I've had the way I talk called combative, usually right around the time my gender becomes clear. I hope you can believe that I am trying resolve this situation and that I am if anything only quite frustrated. If Schro had been more keen to discuss himself, rather than taking me to whatever this arbitration is, I'd feel a lot less so. Thank you for the advice. I'm trying my best. Gwikor Frank (talk) 20:49, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Like, he didn't even talk to me, he just undid over a days work with a claim that didn't even seem relevant. I've been on the backfoot ever since. When we discussed this in the Teahouse it was much more pleasant and co-operative. I wish this had been like that. Gwikor Frank (talk) 20:51, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- This has literally nothing to do with your gender, and it is not possible for you to find anything in my wording at the Teahouse, at ANI or here on this page that would justify you drawing that unwarranted conclusion about my intent. Cullen328 (talk) 21:14, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- They usually say that too. Gwikor Frank (talk) 21:22, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am truly sorry that you have chosen to disregard my advice, which was offered in good faith. My warning stands. Cullen328 (talk) 22:29, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
- Well I'm also female and your behaviour isn't okay. Secretlondon (talk) 11:45, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your useful input on the subject matter, friend. Gwikor Frank (talk) 11:57, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
