Howdy! I deleted the Greg prato article you created and moved the text to your user page. Please review WP:CSD Section A item 7 to understand why. Thanks! - CHAIRBOY (☎) 18:35, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
Some anon speedy-tagged it as soon you created it, but I knew he/she knew nothing. I wasted no time removing the tag and expanding it into a halfway-decent article. This is probably one of the earliest multi-level shopping malls. Anyway, thanks for simply getting this article started... ;) Ranma9617 00:32, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Front cover of 'A Devil on One Shoulder and an Angel on the Other- The Story of Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon'.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Front cover of 'A Devil on One Shoulder and an Angel on the Other- The Story of Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon'.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:29, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
Notability of Greg prato
[edit]A tag has been placed on Greg prato requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Bonadea (talk) 16:21, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
The Conflict of interest policy
[edit]If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for businesses. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you. --Bonadea (talk) 16:28, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (File:Touched by magic cover.jpg)
[edit]You've uploaded File:Touched by magic cover.jpg, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

Speedy deletion of Clint weiler
[edit]A tag has been placed on Clint weiler requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ╟─TreasuryTag►contribs─╢ 17:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. [edit]This edit was inappropriate in any number of ways.
- Its an undue weight to have an entire section dedicated to one other person's thoughts on a band.
- Please read our policy on handling biographies of living people. You can't just go around adding homophobic commentary on people.
- Even ignoring those first two major issues, the fact of the matter is, its a terrible quote. Direct quotes are supposed to be concise, and only used when its not possible to properly paraphrase content in your own words. That quote is a long, rambling mess, that could easily be summed up with "He did not like how the band acted towards him".
Please, no more of this sort of edits. We are writing an encyclopedia, not trash talking at the bar or on a messageboard. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 18:02, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi Sergecross73, please do not accuse me of "adding homophobic commentary on people," when I am simply adding somebody's quote pertaining to a specific Wikipedia subject. I am only reporting what I read (not views nor statements that I agree with). To a certain degree, you are censoring/deleting other's quotes to your liking. Thanks. Goongunther 13:43, 5 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not accusing you of making the remarks, I'm accusing you of making edits that contained homophobic content made by another, which is still a big problem. Its not censorship, its a combination of being a BLP violation and rather poorly constructed writing, as I noted above, complete with the relevant policy issues. Also, I'd like to note that I am not in fact a fan of Killswitch Engage, and am not defending them on the basis of liking them or anything like that. I'm also indifferent Soulfly, Max Cavalera, and Lamb of God. I merely have the Killswitch Engage article on my watchlist because I keep an eye on it to make sure a different editor isn't returning to their disruptive edits there, and just happened to check the edit you made there. The file File:Chrebet's restaurant.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jon Kolbert (talk) 14:54, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
