I'm sorry, I didn't look at that more carefully. I thought you were replacing the page with something inappropriete, vandalizing. Please accept my most sincere apologies.--U.S.A.U.S.A.U.S.A. (talk contribs) 00:01, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much for the massive improvments to the article! You deserve a barnstar. David Spart (talk · contribs · logs · block user · block log) 01:09, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AI: response.

[edit]

So, if I say "its proper class like" you'd still know what I'd mean, but would it still be valid? How can "greater AI" ever be confusing? It just means a higher level of AI – and remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, so no colloquialisms allowed. If you have any problems with that discuss it on my talk page. [edit]

Thanks for deleting that blog. It became completely irrelevant when it became apparent you had ended your poorly reasoned revert war over the use of the word rape. From my perspective that was by far more amusing than the blog you removed. Albion moonlight 07:38, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Genre

[edit]

I fail to see how Tenjho Tenge is sengoku-jidai‎. However, the genre should be added there if that is the case. Lord Sesshomaru (talkedits) 18:04, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Austria Invitation

[edit]

Hello, Graf Bobby! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Austria and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Gazelle (company), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Gazelle (company) is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Gazelle (company), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Thanks for uploading Image:Ishido Macintosh Chung Fu.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 04:59, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Graf Bobby! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to these articles, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Mieko Ishikawa - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Ed Annunziata - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 19:52, 2 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Mieko Ishikawa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No interviews or biographies available to expand/source the article

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I am concerned that there are no hits for this name on Google Books or Google Scholar. Please can you give some assurance that this person actually existed, preferably by adding citations to reliable sources to the article? Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 18:04, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect this is an error for Claude Bendier, for whom there appear to be reliable sources indicating that he was the author of "La défense des principales prérogatives de la ville de Saint-Quentin (1671)" at least. Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 18:52, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately the two references you gave are derived from Wikipedia and thus cannot be used to support the article. I suggest moving the article to Claude Bendier, for whom there are references such as Bulletin de la Société académique de Laon (1861) p.142 [1]; Nicolas Lenglet Dufresnoy, New method of studying history: recommending more easy and complete instructions for improvement in that science than any hitherto extant: with the whole apparatus necessary to form a perfect historian ... Originally written in French by M. Langlet du Fresnoy ... Since translated into Italian ..., Volume 2 of New Method of Studying History: Recommending More Easy and Complete Instructions for Improvement in that Science Than Any Hitherto Extant: with the Whole Apparatus Necessary to Form a Perfect Historian ... Originally Written in French by M. Langlet Du Fresnoy ... Since Translated Into Italian, with Considerable Additions. The Whole Made English, with Variety of Improvements and Corrections ... Also, a Dissertation by Count Scipio Maffei of Verona, Nicolas Lenglet Dufresnoy, Printed for W. Burton, 1728 [2]. Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 17:05, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Book of Judith, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Play (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
