- Hi, and thank you for taking the time to review my article. I have removed some of the language which may read as less-than neutral. I have also included numerous links to credible sources to support the awards listed for Gusbourne. I have added in some additional history, which may provide further context for Gusbourne. I have compared it alongside other English brand and Champagne brand entries and believe it is equally neutral. Please let me know if you have any further suggestions. - @EmilyvN1981 I still read this as mostly an advert. A Wikipedia article must summarise what independent reliable sources state about a topic, not say how brilliant it is. qcne (talk) 15:48, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for your feedback! Noted. This is my first attempt at creating a page. I believe I have taken your feedback on board, and broadened the information on the draft. I have also included more external references and sources. EmilyvN1981 (talk) 20:03, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- That's much better, @EmilyvN1981. I would still like to see one or two more fully independent sources: such as vintner news articles that devote significant coverage in the form of analysis/commentary/reviews/discussion to the wine producer.
- By the way, do you have a professional or personal association with Gusbourne? qcne (talk) 20:39, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Qcne, I appreciate the comments, thank you. I've added in new sources from respected industry experts/publications, including wine critics Jancis Robinson MW and Richard Hemming MW, Matthew Jukes (Vineyard) and Margaret Rand (World of Fine Wine). EmilyvN1981 (talk) 13:47, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- And apologies, I forgot to reply to your query: yes, I am connected to Gusbourne. I'd previously disclosed this on the User section. Is there anywhere else I should reference this connection? EmilyvN1981 (talk) 13:53, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks @EmilyvN1981, yes you've disclosed that properly. And thanks for the extra sources.
- My last bit of feedback: please remove all the external links from the body of the text, perhaps convert them to in-line citations if applicable. You can include one or two relevant external links at the bottom. I'm talking about the stuff like Domaine Evremond and Wine Garden of England. qcne (talk) 18:23, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
