Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tagalog Wikipedia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Philippine language. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Jamelle Cornley has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. GLG GLG (talk) 02:21, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Team Socceroo F.C., without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history. Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 03:00, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Kris Aquino, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted.
Related edit is here. You have been warned about this before. 220 of Borg 20:19, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
- Instead of simply deleting messages on this page I suggest that you take notice of the advice you are being given, such as requests to use edit summaries explaining why you remove maintenance templates. WP:Archiving is also preferred over 'deletion'. - 220 of Borg 20:25, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Chris ross.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Chris ross.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Just asking, with your edit in the 2015 Pacific typhoon season, why would you already classify/say that the 2015 season had ended on October 25? Sorry I have to say this, but this is just dumb. Typhoon2013 (talk) 03:09, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Category removal
I noticed that you removed Category:Chinese Basketball Association players from a number of player bios. For Jérôme Moïso and Dan Gadzuric, they did play in the CBA. However, it would be more relevant to categorize them by their specific CBA team, so I added Category:Jiangsu Dragons players to both of them. I'm not sure the reason you removed the category from the other articles, but you should consider revisiting your changes and adding the relevant CBA team player category if the articles didn't already have them. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 02:38, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
@Bagumba: Maybe I have overseen that some were not categorized to a specific CBA team so I have not categorized it. And also, most of them have also been placed in a specific CBA team category. But anyway, thanks that you have noticed my shortcoming. Regards as well!. Thank you. BMF (talk) 02:53, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
- No problem. As long as you have it under control.—Bagumba (talk) 02:54, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

PBA
See by yourself that my edit is true and the BSN is a PROFESSIONAL basketball league NOT "semi professional" or "amateur" like you said because if it were semi professional or amateur a coach like Phil Jackson never would have coached a team there and please before talking about basketball learn about it first. By the way you'll need to translate the page because it's in Spanish.
http://www.bsnpr.com/otros/historia.asp Noxiuzpr (talk) 17:47, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Noxiuzpr: Can you give me some references that Phil Jackson really coached at BSN? Because on his wiki page, there is no such info that he coached there. Also, give me some references that BSN is already a professional league when it was established. The BSN could be established as a semi-professional or an amateur league before it transitioned to a professional league after the NBA's establishment. --Babymissfortune Usap tayo! 12:22, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- If I may intrude in your discussion, Babymissfortune, Jackson did coach in the BSN once upon a time. In fact he did so badly, he was fired. This was before the "Open Era" of basketball, though.
- As for professionalism, the BSN was on paper "amateur" until the open era, or when FIBA allowed "professionals" to play for their national teams. This was the sticking point why many foreigners didn't play in the NBA until 1992. Aside from the NBA and professional American leagues, the PBA was the only other league which do not subscribe to FIBA's amateur rules.
- The BSN may be the oldest national basketball league, but other basketball leagues are certainly older. The Philippine NCAA is older by five years. The Big Ten Conference has had basketball tournaments since 1906. –HTD 14:48, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Howard the Duck: Thanks for your information. It truly supports the fact that the PBA is the second professional league in the world behind NBA and the first in Asia. --Babymissfortune Usap tayo! 08:31, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- @Noxiuzpr: If you want a further, deeper discussion about this, you can leave a message at PBA's talk page. Or if you want, consult at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Basketball and start a discussion there. --Babymissfortune Usap tayo! 08:31, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
