Respect copyrights
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically Lydia Ansel, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:21, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Lydia Ansel informed me she owns the copyright of the picture I used and she asked me to use it. You can contact her via her website if you wish to so I did however respect the copyright before using the picture as Lydia the copyright holder gave me permission to use the picture on Wikipedia––––
Hello, Chris. The e-mail sent to me was addressed to "Bruce", so I'm unsure if I was the intended recipient. But in any event, you ought to take another look at WP:Orphan. It has nothing to do with the references in the article, but with other articles on Wikipedia. When I last checked, there were no other Wikipedia articles that were linking to the Ansell article. And on a different note, I prefer to receive questions on my Talk page here on Wikipedia, and not by e-mail. NewYorkActuary (talk) 21:00, 17 March 2017 (UTC)Sorry about that so the Wikapedia articles I linked to the page are no good?ChrisMarks1928 (talk) 21:08, 17 March 2017 (UTC) I think I understand you now as what your saying is that no other Wikapedia Pages mentions Lydia. How would I check that? Do I need to search all possible pages that may mention her? That would take a long time. I apoligise to send you the email but the email I received mentioned I could contact you via email so I did not know I was doing anything wrongChrisMarks1928 (talk) 21:22, 17 March 2017 (UTC)
Declare any connection
[edit]Hello, ChrisMarks1928. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the articles Sheridan Smith, Lydia Ansel, Twinnie-Lee Moore, Jenny Gayner, or Draft:Jenny Fitzpatrick, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).I am unemployed received no compensation or affiliation to the mentioned artists apart from I have met them a few timesChrisMarks1928 (talk) 21:51, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:44, 18 March 2017 (UTC) Yes I created all the pages you mention Sheridan Smith, Twinnie Lee Moore, Jenny Gayner, Lydia Ansel and Jenny Fitzpatrick but I had nothing to do with Kate Davies that was mentioned. So are you going to delete all of them? I see you already deleted Lydia Ansel and Jenny Fitzpatrick so I guess the others will be deleted as well. I did not get paid though as stated, I created them free of charge to help the artist and Wikapeia and for no other reason and would have thought it was more important to have the content accurate than worry about who created the pages. I don't represent any of the people mentioned and they have not paid me anything or do I have any say or inluence in there careersChrisMarks1928 (talk) 21:38, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Block evasion
[edit]You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Chris M Pattinson. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 01:30, 18 March 2017 (UTC)I wouid like to confirm that none of the pages or artists you mention are clients of mine. I have not been paid by anyone for creating any of the Wikipedia pages you mention above. If you delete them you're not hurting me, you're only hurting the artists and Wikipedia. I will not be making any further statements on Wikipedia. Enjoy Wikipedia and continue to make false assumptions if that gives you pleasure. If you want to delete any of the pages you mention It's your Wikipedia not mine so you shouud do what ever you wish but I will not be reading any replies and getting involved in any further debate with Wikipedia or its moderators. It appears you all have too much time on your hands to spend so much time on something with respect that's not really that important. Have a nice day––––I have out of interest looked at the Wikipedia account names you claim are associated to me and the articles they created. I can confirm that I did not create the articles about Kate Davies or the old Vic theatre but I did view the old Vic theatre article and it looked well written but I cannot comment on the content as I don't know anything about the subject? I also would never create accounts with the names you associate me with. That's a fact and I have no reason to lie about it as there is no benefit in me doing that. I am not familiar with the films Wikipedia film pages that you mention I edited nor did I edit them why would I? So with respect your investigations are not correct. I am just an average guy who wrote some pages about the artists and there work that I have had the pleasure of seeing and nothing more than that. No conspiracy or anything like that. Your welcome to delete all the remaining pages I created as all I have lost is the time creating them. You have deleted 2 of the pages Lydia Ansel and Jenny Fitzpatrick so you only have Twinnie Lee Moore Jenny Gayner and Sheridan Smith to delete now plus my pictures on Wikamedia which I would appreciate you delete as I don't want them used on Wikipedia. Thank you––––
