Speedy deletion nomination of Algerian Television
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Algerian Television requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Naming issue
@Boumediene15: Hi there! First, thank you for creating articles for the 2017 Algerian Ramadan season series, and for updating the names of channels – CBC Benna and El Djazairia One too. As you know, there are few sources in English talking the Algerian television, so, we're usually confronted to a big problem which is the nature of the suitable title that we have to give to articles about Algerian television channels and programs. Should we use:
- The romanized Arabic title? An example would be the Arabic-titled series الخاوة. Its romanized name in ALA-LC method is: al-Khāwah.
- The latin vehicular name? I mean the wrongly romanized name, which is used on social media and sometimes by French-language press. So here we have: El Khawa.
- An English translation of the name/title? It would be in that example: The Brothers.
Please share your thoughts, and note that since we've found a solution for this problem, we will apply it on ALL articles, to avoid such issues in the future. Thank you. カビル (talk) 17:55, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

Your recent edits to El Wa3ra
There are a few issues with your recent edits to El Wa3ra. These include, but are not limited to:
- In this edit you removed two recently added requests for clarification, without clarifying what the phrases mean. As written, neither "to register artworks" or "the most up-to-date program during the month of Ramadan" make any sense, which is why the {{clarify}} tags were added.
- This edit added links to names that have no articles. Per WP:REDNOT we do avoid including such links.
- In this edit you restored wikilinks that had previously been removed per WP:OVERLINK and WP:REPEATLINK. Per WP:OVERLINK, we do not generally link the names of major geographical features and, per WP:REPEATLINK, we generally only link to each term once. In an article as short as El Wa3ra, there is nothing to be gained by linking more than once.
Please do not restore these edist and, when editing an article, please always use an edit summary. --AussieLegend (✉) 19:03, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
Please check edit histories before restoring edits. In this edit summary I made it clear that this was an incorrect use of the field and directed you to the inforbox instructions, which you obviously did not. The location
field is only used when the country of filming is different to the country of origin. Since all of the locations are listed as being in Algeria, the location
field should not be used. Your edit also restored redlinks to non-notable names, despite the warning above and WP:REDNOT. It re-linked the names of major geographical location, also despite the warning above and WP:OVERLINK. This sort of editing, where you seem to be deliberately ignoring policies and guidelines is becoming increasingly disruptive.
The citations you have added are not sufficient to clarify the obscure phrases that were tagged. This is the English Wikipedia, and text should be able to be read and understood by English readers. Because this is the English Wikipedia we use English spelling, not Algerian spelling. i.e. "June" not "Juin". --AussieLegend (✉) 12:57, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
- @AussieLegend: Sorry, but I see that you are following me and canceling all my edits, and this is called vandalism. This is just an article about a television program and not an article about a president or government. «The idea of the program is to invite guests to different locations, to register artworks», «the most up-to-date program during the month of Ramadan», You always put "clarification needed" although each time I put new references. If you are in English Wikipedia you must put just english references? Who said this? I think you are the only one who made this law. If you do not understand the Arabic references that i put it in the article, this is not my problem, you can translate the references. Please for the last time, I will delete «clarification needed, What does this mean?» I hope you do not put them back again. Cordially--Boumediene15 (talk) 13:51, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
I see that you are following me and canceling all my edits
- Rubbish. El Wa3ra is on my watchlist and I have been fixing the article in accordance with our policies, guidelines and template instructions. Howver, despite attempts to explain where your edits are wong, you keep reverting those changes without explanation. You always put "clarification needed" although each time I put new references.
- The references don't clarify what those phrases mean. The English text should make that clear. A reader should not have to learn another language and have to go to another website to understand what a phrase means. If the artworks are being registered with a government authority, then the text should say "to register artworks with a government authority". That is clear but just "to register artworks" is not. As for "although each time I put new references", that is not correct. You have added refernces once. On previous occasions you have just removed the clarification request. If you are in English Wikipedia you must put just english references? Who said this?
- Nobody said that. I said that the text should be clear. Please for the last time, I will delete «clarification needed, What does this mean?»
that would be disruptive and would result in a warning. Maintenance templates should not be removed without fixing the identified problem. --AussieLegend (✉) 14:29, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

The article M'hamed Bougara University of Boumerdès Faculty of Engineering Sciences has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication that this faculty is independently notable. references and search do not indicate independent notability.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 20:59, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
- Hello Insertcleverphrasehere, for the faculty is very famousin Algeria. But since the study at this university is only in French, references to English are very few.
- I advise you to use the name of the faculty in French to find more references (fr:Faculté des sciences de l'ingénieur Université de M'hamed Bougara Boumerdes).
- Few references because the faculty is somewhat modern, it was a national institute of engineering (fr:Institut national de génie mécanique)
- This is the site of the faculty: [2], and this is a special site for the university as a whole: [3].
- For the university it has several faculties, but because of the large faculties, each faculty is located in a particular neighborhood of the city of Boumerdes. So it is best to create articles in Wikipedia for each faculty.
cordially.--Boumediene15 (talk) 21:38, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tourism in Algeria, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Batna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Tourism in Algeria. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:08, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
Cleopatra bust at the Archaeological Museum of Cherchel, Algeria
Hello! Sorry to intrude or take up any of your time, but I have an extraordinary request that you may be interested in. It's not every day that I make extraordinary requests, but this is an extraordinary situation that I hope you might be able to address, being a Wikipedia editor from Algeria. I might visit Algeria one day, but I'm not going to wind up in the country any time soon. I was wondering if you would be interested, at any point in the future if you have any spare time, in visiting the Archaeological Museum of Cherchell, Algeria to photograph the bust of Cleopatra VII of Ptolemaic Egypt (also possibly a bust of her daughter Cleopatra Selene II, wife of Juba II of Mauretania). There are no available public domain or other suitably licensed images of this bust found at Wikimedia Commons or anywhere online that I have seen. All images of it online that I have seen are copyrighted and under non-commercial licenses, unfortunately, so I cannot upload them to Wikimedia Commons. If you would take a photo of this obscure bust and upload it to Wikimedia Commons under a public domain or suitable commercial license, it would be a great boon for Wikipedia!
