Bienvenido, Boricua, Borincano75, welcome to Wikipedia. Here's some tips:
- You can introduce yourself on the new users page
- If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
- If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
- If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page.
Other useful pages are: how to edit, how to write a great article, naming conventions, manual of style and the Wikipedia policies.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian Tu Amigo, El Boricua Tony the Marine 18:32, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Jose_feliciano.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Jose_feliciano.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 23:55, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
We started a proposal Wikipedia:Wikiethics to state the existing policies coherently and make suggestions on improving the editorial standards in Wiki. I thought you might be interested in contributing to that proposal.
Unfortunately, a pro-porn and pro-offense lobby is trying to make this proposal a failure. They unilaterally started an approval poll although almost no one including me believe that it is time for a vote, simply because the policy is not ready. It is not even written completely.
Editors who thinks that the policy needs to be improved rather than killed by an unfair poll at the beginning of the proposal, started another poll ('Do we really need a poll at this stage?') at the same time. The poll is vandalized for a while but it is stable now. A NO vote on this ('Do we really need a poll now?') poll will strengthen the position of the editors who are willing to improve the ethics policy further.
If you have concerns about the ethics and editorial standards in Wiki, please visit the page Wikipedia:Wikiethics with your suggestions on the policy. We have two subpages: Arguments and Sections. You might want to consider reviewing these pages as well...
Thanks in advance. Resid Gulerdem 00:12, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

I would love your help.
Hi,
I know you are interested in christianity, and I recently started a new wiki over at wikicities which is on the subject of christianity. Christian Knowledge Base is the site.
The goal is to have a knowledgebase on christianity from a distinctly "C(hristian)POV" rather than the NPOV. It is not meant to be a mere Christian Encyclopedia, but to foster a real sense of community. I'd like to include things like current events, news, stories, and anything that would add to both an understanding of Christianity, but also its enjoyment. I'm looking for help to build a resource that could really enrich the lives of Christians.
I know you are busy but I am actively seeking new sysops/admins to help me build this site up, and I would be positively thrilled if you could contribute in any capacity whatsoever. nsandwich 05:52, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
I accept your offer! :) -borincano75

I don't know what to put in the parenthesis when someone is a singer and actress. Should I have put Venezuelan celebrity or something? magiciandude 09:53, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Amar Sin Mentiras.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Amar Sin Mentiras.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 17:36, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Héctor Lavoe
Yo I noticed your work on Héctor Lavoe and noticed you have Latin Music listed as one of your interests in your user page, I have been wanting to raise said page to GA or FA for some time and was intending to comence this work after I finish raising San Juan, Puerto Rico to FA, would you be interested in helping me to raise this page's status? -凶 19:26, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

- Sorry for using slang, a Good Article is described as a article that has superior quality than the mayority of the articles in Wikipedia. Hi Borincano75. Please could you explain why this user's edits are vandalism, and not a content disagreement? They seem like good faith edits to me. Neil ╦ 21:00, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Because I warned the user to stop adding content without info three times already and he still adds them (unless I copied-and-pasted a wrong user).
- Yes, you did. How is that vandalism, please? Neil ╦ 21:08, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Uh no, that is the user, I keep on telling to stop adding content without a reference and still keeps on. Disobeying warnings is not assumming good faith at all. magiciandude (Talk) (review) 21:11, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, yes, you warned the user for vandalism; the user added unreferenced detail to the article - this is not vandalism. Although you were right to remove it, threatening him with being blocked and wrongly reporting him to WP:AIV was not very helpful. I have left a note on the talk page of the article in question. Neil ╦ 21:19, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

- As I say on the talk page of the article, you could try leaving a polite message on the IP's talk page explaining why their edit was unsuitable. The templates you used were for vandalism, the IP's edits were wrong because they weren't referenced, but weren't vandalism. You could also ask, if the editing continues, for the page to be temporarily semiprotected (via WP:RFPP). Neil ╦ 22:35, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

- Eso es asi, ok I added references to two full sections and did minor rewritting. Now the significant part of my work today, you will notice when you see the page that some lines and a full section (The Lavoe improvisational style) are missing, I removed them following my previous experiences in Featured Article Candidatures, the material I removed was only the part that I couldn't find any references for, as for the section it appears it consisted mostly of Original Research and while this might be true there is absolutlely no references for it on the web, just though you should know being the other user working on the page. -凶 07:25, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Que voy a hacer sin) ti).jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Que voy a hacer sin) ti).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
