Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address, 86.241.174.178, made test edits on the page Siege of Chartres (911) which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. If 86.241.174.178 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:

  • I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
  • When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.

I agree that the information that you added could be useful to the article, but you need to go about it differently. Please read the links above and if you're interested in adding this information back, I would suggest putting it in the body of the article and cite a reliable source. It is too much text for the infobox, which is supposed to be brief and to the point, and the format is a bit odd.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Leschnei (talk) 13:10, 6 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Desp2002. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
