My name in the RL is Rob Sykes. I am currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah finishing my undergraduate studies in Arabic and linguistics. I will be moving soon to pursue graduate studies in linguistics elsewhere. We'll see, won't we?

Primarily cognitive science, with particular interests in phonetics, phonology, connectionism (for example, Stochastic OT), neural networks. As far as traditional generative linguistics is concerned, I work within the frameworks provided, but I remain agnostic to the UG hypothesis.
