Your VandalProof Application
Dear Stephenchou0722,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. Prodego talk 00:58, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Please try vandal fighting without VP first, and gain some experience. Then I will approve you. Prodego talk 23:04, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
That template was a victim of vandalism, not a candidate for speedy deletion. I reverted both the vandalism and the speedy delete nomination. Caerwine Caer’s whines 20:31, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I was under the impression that the template should be deleted because it contained no information whatsoever. I will avoid making this mistake again next time. Sorry. Stephenchou0722 00:23, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

PJMN
Perhaps you can help me out here. I thought PJMN was speedy delete under G10 because it was an attack, can you tell me why you suggest it to be A7 instead? MrMacMan 02:30, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, Just that he listed several things that people usually aren't positively associated with 'can be a real tool', 'midget porn'... he also stated that it was not his photo... Also I have come across the thread they created about this wiki article here... I dunno your probably right. MrMacMan 02:42, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
See my user page.
You seem like a good random neutral party to ask about this. Does it make sense that the intro of this article has been moved in to a section called "version 1" I don't want to start an edit war by just moving it back... So, I need a 3rd party to say if it's at least good enough to stay at the top, pending further revision. (The article if tagged for clean-up and NPOV as it is.) Thanks! futurebird 00:42, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Subst'ing
When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:uw-test1}} instead of {{uw-test1}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. Paul Cyr 00:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry! I will do that next time! Stephenchou0722 21:13, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Stubs
Thank you for marking Robert Burnaby Park as a {{stub}}. If possible please use a more specific stub type. To make this easier there is a list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types. Doing this helps stub sorting. If you are still unsure of which specific stub to use then it is best to use the generic {{stub}}. Ksbrowntalk 15:50, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- I could not find a suitable stub type, so I had to use the plain stub. Stephenchou0722 16:44, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Highland High School (Albuquerque) edit
You editted out the fact that Mike Judge did not attend Highland High School. The link provided verified the claim. Mike Judge attended St. Pius X (Class of 1980) and never attended Highland. I am not an experienced Wikipedian but you can verify this claim on several other sites. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.166.159.204 (talk) 01:33, 11 March 2007 (UTC).

vandalism from shared IP
Unfourtunately this IP that I am currently using, 165.155.200.145 is a shared school IP so if there's any more vandalism from this network It would be very Important that the talk page be given more warnings in order for school officials here to crack down on the vandals that also occasionally use this IP. If this ever happens again there will be lots of suspensions. Cheers! Sincerely, --165.155.200.145 13:57, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Activevirusshield.svg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Activevirusshield.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:51, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Date Formats
Hi, I'd like to let you know, there is no point to edit the dates in Windows Live articles to the US format, so please refrain from doing so. When a user logs in to their account in Wikipedia, it automatically converts the date into the format they prefer. So 2007-05-31 would be automatically converted to May 31, 2007 or 31 May, 2007 depending on that your preference is. Thank you. Pikablu0530 00:33, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
Pius XII
Hi, since my edit of the Pius XII article, that you reverted, stated two verifiable sources, you simply cannot talk of an unverified edit! This is what I call vandalism! --84.142.182.214 05:30, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

WP:CVU status
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! KantAV
A {{prod}} template has been added to the article KantAV, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. B. Wolterding 15:39, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Redirect of Kaya Kalpa
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Kaya Kalpa, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Kaya Kalpa is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Kaya Kalpa, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Komati (Caste) High Alert
Dear Stephenchou0722
You have marked Komati (caste) rv vandalism on Nov 17'2007 and reverted it back to an older version, but the truth is that the old articles had racist vandals since the inception of the original article itself.
This is one Indian Caste whose article has been constantly vandalized since its inception. Some of the most recent vandals include 122.167.77.86, 122.167.71.212, 122.167.80.227. There has been a constant racist conundrum that is breeding falsehood. Terms like Dravidian, Aryan, Black, White and their context should be taken into consideration.
122.167.77.86 states, "This should not be confused as a racial term but only bestowing honor on account of wealth and social mobility. Komtis or Arya Vysyas as renamed later are proud Dravidians with extremely dark complexion who take great pride ."
This anonymous guy tries to be polite in his deeds of demeaning a caste. Anonymous people like these have long hacked this article and made an enormous impact on generating false impressions about this caste. This is a higher caste in the Indian Caste System and claims to have Aryan origin (Aryan merchant settlers on the bank of river Gomati(Komati as called by Telugus) in Northern India) but hackers and racists have scribed false notes about it.
Eminent people from this caste include Potti Sreeramulu who was a freedom fighter and who had closely worked with Mahatma Gandhi for the upliftment of poor and lower castes. Both Mahatma Gandhi and Potti Sreeramulu are from Vaishya Caste. Mahatma Gandhi hails from Gujarat where Vaishya caste is called Bania and Potti Sreeramulu hails from Andhra Pradesh where it is known as Komati. Potti Sreeramulu also worked for the origin of linguistic states. Vaishya or Merchant caste of India has long been demeaned by other higher castes because it worked for the upliftment of the lower castes. Mahatma Gandhi was killed by one such fanatic. At the same time, lower castes also demeaned vaishyas as they were the wealthy merchant class of India.
My suggestion is to have this article on complete 24 hr watch to stop denegrating it further. Words and phrases that are used to demean and attack the article should be banned. Some of the words include Aryan, Dravidian, black, white, dark in context. Others may be analyzed and banned whenever they are found. Unproven race related notes should be totally banned.
Thank you.
