"The Beach" is an electropop song released by rock band The Neighbourhood on September 24, 2015.[1] The song was part of self-titled album of The Neighbourhood, The Neighbourhood. The song was made by Jesse Rutherford, Lars Stalfors, Jeremy Freedman, Brandon Fried, Zach Abels, and E. Kidd Bogart. While the song died in popularity a couple years after release, the song would become viral on TikTok years later, alongside other songs by The Neighbourhood such as Softcore, Sweater Weather, Daddy Issues, You Get Me So High, and Reflections.

The meaning of the song is rather undetermined as The Neighbourhood never publicliy announced the meaning to the song "The Beach". Elements of the song do describe forms of regret, sadness, and mental issues. The lyrics also describe having romantic feelings for
