https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminist_perspectives_on_eating_disorders looked at this article as a potential article to work on. it has a comment bar at the top that the comments in the article may not reflect worldwide opinion and suggesting that it could be a good article to work on.
could be interesting to add to the article or stem from this article to discuss the relationship between adolescence and the development of eating disorders.
some statistics in the article may be off. additionally, the article reads more like a persuasive essay than an encyclopedia piece. there are citations (anne becker's work) that could add to the comments on the page about the influence of media on women's body image. I like the topic of the article, but would want to either add a new page or do a serious revamp to discuss more hard facts of the relationship between the media and body image and how these issues often peak during adolescence.
Could tie back to this page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eating_disorders and make the relationship between the development of eating disorders and adolescence more directly stated. This page is also a possible link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Biddulph related to the sexualization of girls and declining mental health. It is currently a pretty short page on the researcher but could be connected to the above pieces.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peggy_Orenstein This page on Peggy Orenstein needs editing according to Wikipedia and also connects to the issues I've been discussing on my sandbox.

- Thanks for posting these possible articles- I'll review them and provide feedback soon. Also, you should activate your "talk" page by writing something (anything) on it. Finally, be sure to include a brief edit summary when you add something new to one of your pages.-- Jml4bw (talk) 17:18, 18 February 2014 (UTC)
