Frank Doorhof (born on May 6, 1971) is a Dutch international fashion and glamour photographer, author and expert on color calibration. He is also a renowned instructor and teacher at worldwide seminars and workshops.
Biography
[edit]Frank Doorhof was brought up in a family of photography/video enthusiasts, from which he inherited the love for video and photography. Together with his wife Annewiek he started a computer company which later also grew into one of the first Home Theater companies in the Netherlands.
He is an ISF / HAA trained calibrator and up to today still combines his photography with calibrations and reviewing projectors/displays.
From 2003 his wife Annewiek took over the computer company and Doorhof concentrated on his photography.
In 2006 Doorhof emphasized into teaching and giving seminars and workshops. Apart from his ongoing work as a photographer he is now teaching worldwide for many industry leading manufacturers and companies and has been named a DXO Image Master[1] , a X-Rite Coloratti[2] , and an Adobe Influencer.
Workshops are held in his studio based in Emmelord in the Netherlands and throughout the world at seminars and tradeshows, like Photoshop World Conference & Expo, Professional imaging and Photokina. He also teaches online through Kelbyone.com, where he was named the first European instructor in 2010[3].
He is the author of two books and has collaborated on several educational DVD projects.
