This is a list of things that WP:SNOW is not.
- Snowballing is not a way to clear off proposals or nominations you don't want. Since snowballs are not really strong, anyone can challenge a snowball.
- Snowballing is not an excuse to start a snowball fight. If someone challenges your snowball, then don't challenge his/her challenge.
- Snowballing is not a rule. It is a form of IAR and shall always be.
- Snowballing is not a way to reach a final decision, especially if it's a really important one. If you want to turn the main page upside-down and rename it 'last page', then WP:SNOW probably isn't the best choice.
