When trying to discuss ideas to reach a consensus, remember that there's a difference between !voting, vote-discussion, and just voting. Just voting is like putting Support or Oppose and signing it, without having a comment. In a !poll or vote-discussion, those are usually ignored or removed. This essay is going to explain the difference between the two.
!vote
[edit]It is based only on consensus, is basically an enhanced discussion with Support, Oppose, or Comment.
vote-discussion
[edit]It is based both on consensus and the actual result of the vote. Hence the term "vote-discussion".
