[edit]- ^ The position of Taoiseach was created on the 29 December 1937. Prior to this, Arthur Griffith and W.T. Cosgrave served as President of Dáil Éireann. Michael Collins and W.T. Cosgrave served as Chairman of the Provisional Government. W.T. Cosgrave and Éamon de Valera served as President of the Executive Council (See Irish heads of government since 1919).
