Hello to you for exploring my page! I am 'FireBrigadeFanaticNO1'. I mainly focus my edits on the British Fire Brigade, although it may alter and go into some other services (Eg : Editing a page for missing services) or even things that aren't British Emergency Services!
Although I'm no big page maker, my first article was Glasgow Salvage Corps which used to be the only Salvage Corps that had no Wikipedia page!
Contributions
[edit]British Emergency Service Contributions
[edit]My British Emergency Service contributions consist (From A-Z) of:
- Cheapside Street Whisky Bond Fire
- Glasgow Salvage Corps (Page Kickstarter)
- Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
- Kent Fire and Rescue Service
- List of United Kingdom uniformed services
- Liverpool Salvage Corps (Addition of Logo/Badge)
- London Salvage Corps (Addition of Logo/Transfer)
- Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (History Section Kickstart)
- Salvage Corps (Kickstarted the 'Ranks' and 'History' sections)
- Southport Fire Brigade (Page Kickstarter)
And for no reason at all, here is A-Z of all the letters done so far:
C, G, K, L, R, S.
Other Contributions
[edit]Many of these pages will be about British Emergency Services. You can find any edits of Non-British Emergency Services here (From A-Z):
- Helmet Integrated Systems (Kickstarted the page)
- Merryweather & Sons (Kickstarted the Fireman Helmet section)
Pages I have Kickstarted
[edit]Currently on Wikipedia, I have the privilege of Kickstarting three pages:
Some of these will likely have information not added by me by the time you read this.
My Passtimes
[edit]One of my hobbies is collecting Firefighting Kit. Many people find this odd, yet I would like to take part in saving a part of history that would otherwise be lost if not properly kept.
Currently, I own:
- about 40 helmets with more to add on.
- Axes, Tunics, Leggings, and general kit.
- Brethalised Air Sets (SCBA For other people) and also Communication Sets for BA Teams.
These are my favorite pieces of kit too:
- The three 'Step and Stairs' patterns I own were made by Helmets Limited for the London Fire Brigade (Mainly) which are worth £150-£200 each.
- The three rarest helmets I own in my opinion are my City of Liverpool Fire Brigade Leather Hendry Metro, my Greater Manchester County Fire Service 1970 Cromwell LTD Cork, and my Berkshire & Reading Fire Brigade Turtle Helmet
