"If the news is fake, imagine history."[1]
You used to have to write a book to understand something.[2] Now, you need to write accurate, comprehensive, factual, and neutral Wikipedia articles.[3]
I have been here for a while but only recently increased my participation:
- I blew up Greece–Turkey relations from a list of news reports to the slightly more coherent narrative it has now. I created Greece–Ottoman Empire relations and Foreign relations of the Eastern Roman Empire as a natural extension of this work.
- I contributed to the rewrite of parts of Roman Empire, specifically the lede and Languages.
- I am part of a crew that is performing an extensive review of the Byzantine Empire article
- One day, I hope to complete the legions of books the above two have made me read and get back to the complicated topic of Draft:Periodisation of Roman civilisation.
