Kimberly Schmidt started as a “glorified errand runner” at her hometown newspaper in southern Oregon in her teens, working her way through a variety of positions in newspapers. Working for the family of Eagle Newspapers Inc. since 1983 in Woodburn Lake Oswego and Molalla, Wilsonville is where she now loves to work and live. Kim enjoys outdoor activities, writing, reading, cooking, history, genealogy, volunteering, and playing the harp (although she’s not as good as she would like to be). She helps with the “nuts and bolts” of the office – from classified and display advertising to fixing the copy machine and taking out the trash.
