Miss Aura International is an annual global beauty pageant held in turkey that promotes Beauty, Behavior, Brain and Body of women around the world. The pageant was establish on 2006 in Antalya, Turkey as Miss Kemer International. On 2019, the contest 12th edition, the organizer change and use the name of Miss Aura International. Around more than 30 girls from around the world participate every year.[1]
The Current Miss Aura International is [Miss Aura International 2020] Andreia Correia from Portugal. Despite pandemic, Miss Aura international 15th edition is set to be held this year Antalya, Turkeya with more than 40 delegates expected to participate. [1]
History
[edit]The first edition of Miss Aura International pageant with the original name Miss Kemer International was held on 2006 in Antalya, Turkey with majority of participants from Europe specifically from the trans-countries of Eurasia and Eastern Europe. Tanya Semeletova of Russia emerged as the inaugural winner of the pageant. interestingly, Russia dominated this pageant with three (3) crowns (2006, 2010, 2014) not included the victories of its independent/autonomous region of Siberia on 2015 by Elizaveta Konstantinova and Tatarstan on 2018 by Kamilla Kushainova.
In pageant's 14 editions, Slavic beauties dominated with 11 wins (Russia (3), Siberia and Tatarstan (1), Ukraine, Belarus, Serbia, Czech Republic and Kazakhstan (1) including the win of Ukrainian Model Vlada Saulchenkova representing USA). European countries dominated the pageant with 12 out of 14 (including Kazakhstan which is geographically Asia but politically part of Europe). Regarding with Kazakhstan, politically no Asian country has won this pageant but geographically this trans-country scored first crown for Asia on 2018 by Aim Isengalieva . Only twice an American country won (Brazil on 2008 and USA on 2016). Africa and Oceania has yet to win. On 2020, on its 14th edition, the pageant crowned Andreia Correia from Portugal as its first black winner.
On 2021, the pageant announced its motto/advocacy 4B Beauty, Behavior, Brain and Body. [2]
