Rotating Solutions, L.L.C.
[edit]Rotating Solutions, L.L.C., is an Original Equipment Manufacturer of industrial equipment and machinery. Founded in 2007 by Richard (Rick) A. Cates, Rotating Solutions began as a small-scale repair shop specializing in blower repairs. Rick employed his wife, Jamie Cates, to manage accounts and payroll and Don Venable for his management expertise and experiences at servicing industrial blowers. Soon after, Rick and Don hired Holden Hare and began custom manufacturing pressure washers and shaker screen cleaners. As the company's clientele increased, there grew a demand for various machine builds. Rotating Solutions expanded into building rig vacuums, pump aggregates, and vapor recovery units. Demand remained high for custom-built pressure washers and screen cleaners, allowing Rick to hire skilled welders and fabricators. As the company's workforce grew, Rick installed Johnnie Daughdrill as vice president over operations. In 2012, Christopher (Chris) L. Taylor joined Rotating Solutions as general manager to contribute his business acumen, technical expertise, and in-depth knowledge of decanter centrifuges. Around that time, Rotating Solutions began custom building decanter centrifuges. As the machinery built at Rotating Solutions became more complex, clients demanded operations and maintenance manuals. Consequently, in 2013, Rotating Solutions hired its first technical writer, James (Jim) M. Spears, and a series of intern, contract, and staff drafters. As clients increasingly demanded expertise and parts to maintain the specialized equipment Rotating Solutions built for them, the company quickly widened its repertoire to include in-house repair and maintenance, field service, and part sales. Meanwhile, Rotating Solutions steadily expanded its product line. Currently, the company custom builds, services, and provides parts for complete centrifuge systems; all-in-one configurables; and other fully-customizable equipment and machinery. Since its inception, Rotating Solutions primarily served the oil and gas industry. Currently, the company also custom manufactures equipment and machinery for the petrochemical industry, municipalities, environmental industry, and food processing. In 2015, Rotating Solutions moved from its original 30,000 square-foot facility in South Rayne, Louisiana, and is now headquartered at its 80,000 square-foot office and fabrication complex in North Rayne, Louisiana, along the I-10 corridor. As of 2015, Rotating Solutions employed between 50 and 200 people and generated an annual income of between $5 million and $15 million.
