Change the family from Cyprinidae to Leuciscidae, it was recently changed according to Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes. This is the link to the exact location of the current taxonomy. http://researcharchive.calacademy.org/research/ichthyology/catalog/fishcatmain.asp AIHUofA (talk) 20:55, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The parent should be Cyprinoidei and the taxonomic reference should be {{cite web |url=https://www.calacademy.org/scientists/catalog-of-fishes-classification |title=Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes Classification |access-date=11 December 2024 |publisher=[[California Academy of Sciences]]}}

This follows on from the WP:Fishes consensus in October this year to use Eschmeyer's Catalog of Fishes as the taxonomic source for articles on extant fish taxa at the level of order and below. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Fishes#Taxonomy. Quetzal1964 (talk) 13:57, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
