Cadillac Escalade 1999-2000 Body Style
MotorTrends’ states that 1999 Escalade which is the first year this vehicle was introduced comes equip with a v8 5.7-liter motor that is capable of doing 255 horsepower which was revolutionary for its time, and it is coupled with a 4L60-E automatic transmission. The Escalade uses the same instrumentation and dash layout, rugged chassis and suspension, and proven body structure and powertrain as the Chevrolet Tahoe. The Escalade will offer a Cadillac-style warranty of four years/50,000 miles versus the three years/36,000 on the other divisions' variations. Also, there's the excellent 24-hour Cadillac Roadside assistance (last two sentences were direct quotes from same MotorTrends’ Article because they could not have been said better). These are some of the first vehicles to come equipped with OnStar and GPS. This is one of the cheaper Escalades starting at $47,000 but that’s just due to age and inflation of course.
2002-2006 Body Style
Jerry Garrett states in the Network Journal that Cadillac completely skips the 2001 Escalade and returns in 2002 with a $5k price hike bringing its new average value to roughly $50k. This model comes factory with Goodyear tires, it introduces Stabilitrak, and it gets rid of the old Vortec 5700 v-8. Though he doesn't mention the exact motor that replaces the 5700 it most definitely will remain to be a v-8 as that is what comes factory with all Escalades, Tahoe's, and Yukon's. Then Motortrends goes on to state that this model will in fact still come with a Vortec 6000 v8 except this time it will come with a 6.0 at launch and a 5.3 later in the year. The 6.0 will be AWD capable of 345hp and the 5.3 will be 2WD capable of 285hp. This model will come with an improved version of the 4L60-E HD transmission and will introduce OnStar for the first time to the Escalade. Finally, this SUV will come standard with a leather lined interior, Bose speaker system, with 11 speakers in total. Not to mention this model seats 7 with removable third row seating.
2007-2014 Body Style
According to Coilas in 2014 the Escalade which is mainly sold in the US went through a major redesign and the going rate of the SUV went up to $85k on average for the ESV model. Then stated in USNews the 2014 will come with a 6.2-liter V8 motor. As well he left out this model with come factory with the base infotainment center features a Bose sound system with 10 speakers, navigation, Bluetooth, rear audio controls, and satellite radio. Tri-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera are also standard. Available features include blind spot warning, a rear-seat entertainment system, and temperature-regulated cup holders. Not to mention this model seats 7 like the other models with removable third row seating. As well this model comes in two lengths one comparable to Tahoe the regular model then the extra length one like that of the Suburban which would be the ESV. As well this model comes in four trims base, luxury, premium, and platinum.
2015-2020 Body Style
USNews discusses the 2015-19 body style and what all has changed along the way. These years present a newer body style, a backup camera that can be viewed in the rear-view mirror, v8 motor of course that is capable of 420 horsepower and 460 foot pounds of torque, as well the fact it keeps a smooth quiet ride due to its adjustable suspension. The 2015 model is $42,000-$58,000 while the 2019 model holds a bigger price tag of $75,000-$100,000 due to being much more recent. The Escalade’s five-year costs for gas, insurance, repairs, and maintenance are projected to be around $31,200, or $6,240 per year (this sentence is direct from page but 100% necessary to include). The front two rows offer plenty of space for full sized adults to sit where as the third row is completely cramped. This body style also includes a 8” touch screen, 16 piece Bose speaker kit, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, and a household style power outlet. This truck includes everything you could possibly need and more.
2021 Body Style
Then in 2021 according to an article in Consumer reports the value goes up again starting at $76k going all the way up to a whopping $107k. But that's not the only thing included with this price increase. Another beautiful revamping of the trucks interior and exterior happens once again. This model has its own rear suspension just like the Tahoe and it comes factory even on the base model with a v8 motor that does a whopping 420hp. As well in 2021 GM redesigned there 3 common SUV’s Tahoe, Yukon, and the Escalade. All 3 shrunk the headlight housings but implemented powerful led bulbs which result in better vision and a sleeker look. The Escalade did away with the cheap plastics and the cramped third row. Not to mention they now offer a blacked-out Sports Model and Platinum Model that includes chrome accents my default. High-quality leather wraps the seats, dash, doors, even that curved digital display. As well this model comes with a 38’ high def multi media screen great for navigation, music, or wireless control of phone and it can all be experienced on the optional 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference premium audio system. Last but not least, the cabin is fully deadened resulting it a better sounding audio experience as well as less wind and road noise. We talked about the motor in the previous article, but this article makes it much more clear that we do get a 6.2 motor in it again this year with a ten-speed automatic transmission. Based on Charles Piddock research is the 2021 model can tow up to 8100 pounds with the only SUV competition that can tow more is the Nissan Armada which can tow 9,000 pounds both can easily tow two full size sedans. As well he goes on to state that the 2021 Escalade also comes standard with up to 460-foot pounds of torque.
Cadillac's Future
Then Automotive News goes on to state that in 2023 Cadillac will introduce a model same size as the Escalade that will be fully electric with an even larger fully electric model to emerge in 2024.

Sorry, Dpcole, but it's not eligible. There is nothing correct about this nomination. There are no hooks. You have not 5x expanded the article, or even edited it. The text on the nomination, which was placed below the line specifically saying "Please do not write below this line", doesn't belong here. (And even if that text were integrated into the article, it wouldn't be sufficient for the required expansion.) Also, the nomination hasn't been transcluded. Please see WP:DYK for rules and general information. Bwadleruno, please properly instruct students in your "Information Literacy" course how to submit a nomination.
