There are some errors in this article, as the Caliph Al-Mansur was born in the year 714 AD, and died in the year 775 AD. while the article is stating that Yahya Ibn al-Batriq (working 796 – 806), and that is a mistake. Because the Caliph Al-Mansur had already died about 21 years before that.
the correct phrase should be:
He translated for "Al-Ma'mun" the major medical works of Galen and Hippocrates, "Al-Ma'mun" instead of Al-Mansur.
And his name is Yahya Ibn Al-Batriq, As his nickname is Abu Zakaria, Not Abu Yahya.
