Orphaned references in Rashtriya Ispat Nigam
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:24, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
New "Accident"
[edit]Just watched a video on Reddit showing what looks like a very serious disaster where a large caldron of molten steel spilled all over the work area at the Visakhapatnam Plant, burning many workers, none of which appear to have any kind of protection. I get the general impression that industrial "accidents" (such as Bhopal) are frequent, and wonder if more attention to lax safety standards in industrial companies in general, and this plant in particular, should be given more attention in Articles in general, and this one in particular.
I see a lot of talky-talk about financial issues with this plant, and frankly IDGAF about the monetary fluff in this Article, and think that worker safety merits an increase in focus, for the above reasons and probably many more. The video includes sounds of these workers screaming in agony while they are obviously being burned alive, and yet the one news article I read about the incident downplays the seriousness of the event, and doesn't mention any deaths at all, which I highly doubt, given that at least one of the workers was completely doused with molten steel. Further I wonder, given India's apparently abysmal worker safety record, if there isn't some kind of campaign to limit public awareness of the deficits in India's safety standards, in general, and the safety standards at this plant, in particular. Not an expert on the topic, and have no real substance to my opinion, other than the sounds of those workers being burned alive by molten steel.70.94.140.138 (talk) 21:25, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
