Venue
[edit]- No one has verify the "actual" arena name. Fight island nor Yas Island is not a arena name...Yas Island is a location and Fight Island is PR stuff. The source does not VERIFY IT. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kent Bargo (talk • contribs) 20:35, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- PR stuff based only on Kent Bargo's opinion? Gsfelipe94 (talk) 14:26, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. The UFC event page, UFC always lists the venues, cities and countries for all the events - examples see - here-1. For UFC 251 UFC listed "UFC Fight Island" is the venue - see here-2.Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 22:11, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Cassiopeia: Its for PR thing that UFC made used for advertising purpose. This my not my opinion and understand WP:NOTPART and UFC.com the primary source is not always reliable. UFC Fight Island is not a arena/venue. Yas Island is a location, and not a arena. Why cant you leave venue blank and wait for arena name details? The arena name details been released as Flash Forum arena.Kent Bargo (talk) 18:37, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- Kent Bargo Since the info of the venue is announced, all the UFC event pages for the next 4 events (July 2020) have updated the info (Flash Forum one of the facilities in the Fight Island which located in Yes Island, UAE). Cassiopeia(talk) 04:35, 11 July 2020 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Rummskartoffel (talk) 17:31, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Let me tell what Wikipedia you on!
[edit]This is en.wikipedia as you can see on the address bar. Follow EN WP standards not UAE WP standards. July 11 is the start date for US. Go post that July 12th start information in UAE Wikipedia. There no argument needed. @IMAHua: @Gsfelipe94: @2600:1008:B155:8E75:9062:1EFA:4C40:9E1E: Kent Bargo (talk) 19:27, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- You've already proven several times that you don't know many things when it comes to Wikipedia. It makes no sense to use an argument like yours based on which Wikipedia we're updating. The facts are universal and every event has the date and time related to the location they are taking place. There is also text on the body of the article for people that actually take a time to read it. Do not revert or you might me blocked for disruptive edit/edit war. Gsfelipe94 (talk) 21:07, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
What is this for? IMAHua (talk) 02:50, 10 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Kent Bargo: The Manual of Style ("Time" section) has this to say on the matter:
In other words, using the time zone the event will take place in is standard practice; in this case, it is Gulf Standard Time. There are also countries outside of the US that use English. —Tenryuu 🐲 ( 💬 • 📝 ) 03:55, 10 July 2020 (UTC)Give dates and times appropriate to the time zone where an event took place. For example, the date of the attack on Pearl Harbor should be December 7, 1941 (Hawaii time/date).
- @Kent Bargo: As per Manual of Style ("Time" section), we use the local time. Please note English Wikipedia is about "English language" is used for the site and not about geography in the world and especially is not about the time matter to United States. Do ask questions if needed and listen to experience editor advice would help you. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia(talk) 05:05, 11 July 2020 (UTC)
