Fair use rationale for Image:Simpsons s9.png

[edit]

Image:Simpsons s9.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Gimple?

[edit]

What on earth is Gimple? It is in virtually all of the refs... WEBURIEDOURSECRETSINTHEGARDENwe need to talk. 19:57, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a shortened way of writing out the book reference which is shown in the sources section. It saves adding the entire book information when you have to cite different page numbers for different things. Gran2 20:07, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

The Featured topic criteria has recently been changed and requires that a topic have twenty percent of its articles featured. Both Simpsons topics The Simpsons (season 8) and The Simpsons (season 9) will need to get two more (four more overall) for a 6 total FAs and will have six mounts to do this. Citations?

[edit]

Does the last sentence (a single sentence) need seven citations to prove that the season had 3 holdovers and who ran those, and a few other episodes? All 7 citations are from the same source. It would be more appropriate to consolodate them into one single citation, listing all of the pages on one line. 10:30, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Disney dispute

[edit]

Hi, for the list of episodes I noticed that Wikipedia lists it as episode 23 whereas Disney+ says it’s episode three… not sure which is correct. Thanks, Dwightol102 (talk) 05:28, 10 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Lisa the Simpson

Is S9 E3 not "Lisa the Simpson"? Thyme40 (talk) 16:23, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
