The ONE → The One (shopping centre) – "ONE" is not an acronym so it should not be capitalized in the article title per MOS:TM. feminist 10:09, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:NATURAL. Let's not use overly long disambiguation when we don't have to. -- Tavix (talk) 17:43, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support per WP:MOSTM The Standard Tycoon Joseph Lau Luen-hung has given his private property The One - a top commercial site in Tsim Sha Tsui worth about HK$18 billion - to his wife Kimbie Chan Hoi-wan and their children. also http://www.nextstophongkong.com/the-one/ etc. In ictu oculi (talk) 20:35, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support per above--John123521 (Talk-Contib.) RA 06:48, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support – removing the promotional MOS:ALLCAPS styling is desirable. Wikipedia should strive to be independent of the subjects that it describes, and should not try to replicate logos and promotional sytling. —BarrelProof (talk) 17:10, 26 June 2017 (UTC)
- Support move per nom and relevant policy. ONR (talk) 02:39, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- FWIW, the manual of style isn't policy. The only policy cited has been WP:NATURAL, which would be against this proposal, not for it. -- Tavix (talk) 02:57, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- WP:TITLETM is policy, and it supports MOS:TM and favors this move. It even provides a very similar example with a two-word title in which the second word is three letters long and is all-caps in the stylized usage: Invader ZIM → Invader Zim. —BarrelProof (talk) 03:36, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'm glad someone knows the difference between a guideline and policy. The key difference between your example and the one here is disambiguation. "Invader Zim" is unambiguous, "The One" is not. -- Tavix (talk) 03:48, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, that is a difference. Whether it is a key difference or not is another matter. And when we are discussing whether some letters are capitalized or not (or similar matters typically involving MOS:TM / WP:TITLETM), I tend to draw a distinction between a name and the styling of the name, and I tend to have a strong distaste for all-caps when used purely for promotional styling purposes. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:20, 29 June 2017 (UTC)

- Support – "ONE" should not be capitalized solely because it's stylized that way, and the suggested title is fine. V2Blast (talk) 06:46, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
