Stephanie Scully → Steph Scully – Very clear WP:COMMONNAME from article's sources. U-Mos (talk) 12:36, 3 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Bensci54 (talk) 16:45, 10 July 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 23:16, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Google kinda disagrees:
- "Stephanie Scully" = 2,870,000 results
- "Steph Scully" = 331,000 results
- "Stephanie Scully Neighbours" = 91,300 results
- "Steph Scully Neighbours" = 32,500 results – JuneGloom07 Talk 00:47, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- Interesting. With quotation marks it's a lot closer: 27,900 for "Stephanie Scully" and 15,300 for "Steph Scully"; 18,400 and 13,300 respectively when including Neighbours. The first page of the "Stephanie Scully" search contains no reliable sources and two unrelated items. I maintain that a "significant majority of independent, reliable, English-language sources", per WP:COMMONNAME, favour Steph. U-Mos (talk) 09:11, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
- It is worth noting that she has been credited as Stephanie Scully and Stephanie Hoyland from 1999 until 2010.Rain the 1 21:32, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- Here's what Google trends shows. It seems Steph Scully is more popular in overall number of searches, but Stephanie Scully is more popular in more regions (if you turn on low search volume regions). I couldn't get a Google Ngram, so hold this helps. Urchincrawler (talk) 04:22, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

- Support move to "Steph". This is what most sources seem to use, the article prose uses it and it would have the added advantage of simplifying the opening bold bit of the article.--Commander Keane (talk) 04:57, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
