St Mary the Virgin's Church, Little Hormead → St Mary's Church, Little Hormead – The page has been created with the wrong church name - it is NOT known as 'St Mary the Virgin's church'. The Churches Conservation Trust may have made the page as they have made the same error on their website. They have been contacted about the error. The correct title for the page should be 'St Mary's Church, Little Hormead'. Scan Copies of the Vesting Documents by the Church Commissioners for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and other supporting documents are provided here as evidence the church is properly titled 'St Mary's Church, Little Hormead'. Very grateful if this page could be changed as the graveyard of St Mary's Little Hormead is still used for burials and having the wrong name can confuse funeral directors, grave diggers and mourners looking for this church. I make this request as Rector of the United Benefice of Hormead with Wyddial, Anstey, Brent Pelham and Meesden, within which the former parish of St Mary's, Little Hormead, lies.
