UK Children's hospices Claire House, Shooting Star, plus Martin House hospice all have pages in Wikipedia, so 'importance' should not be a reason for deletion. I would counter this notion by saying that palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions, and the hospice movement, are very important subjects to many people.
I intend to fix any formatting problems and properly reference any links (external or internal) if the page is allowed to stay!
I've made some drastic changes to bring into line with our guidelines, policies and manual of style. The article read much like a brochure and appeared to have been pretty much copy and pasted from bits of CHASE's own literature. As an encyclopedia we need to present a more measured neutral article to our readers and we may not use copyrighted material that does not conform to the GFDL in this manner. I also removed listings of things the charity does/has done and of its patrons that were not themselves particularly encyclopedic. Again they read more like press release claims than an encyclopedia article.
The article as it currently stand also lacks any real indication of how the world sees it - no reliable third party reports that have taken a critical look at the institution. This would be invaluable for fleshing it out and indicating its notability. -- SiobhanHansa13:01, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
