If the kidnapping/rape victim's name was revealed in court, but never by police or the media, I don't think we should be showing it here. Is there any Wikipedia policy in place for this kind of thing already? 24.101.31.180 (talk) 15:48, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
At the time of this writing, this article says (and I quote): "A tentative execution date was set upon conviction for September 13, 2018, however the execution is unlikely to take place on this date unless Grate waives his right to appeal his conviction and sentence." However, at the time of this writing, the current date is September 18, 2018 (at least in my time zone), and if Grate was executed on September 13, 2018, it isn't reflected in this article (at least not at the time of this writing). I think the article should say something like "A tentative execution date was set upon conviction for September 13, 2018, however he was not executed on this date" or something like that. Do I need to provide a source for the claim that he wasn't executed on September 13, 2018? Heart of Destruction (talk) 07:48, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Something weird happened earlier today. The profile said he had killed himself by shooting himself today, April 16th 2023. At the top of the page, it said: “I love you Russi Taylor”. I have an image if needed. But, not on the date of death or mode. Then it disappeared when I excited the page, and went back on it. Russi Taylor has nothing to do w this case. Maybe darkweb folks are using this medium to communicate w one another. 2600:4041:5E97:4E00:A4C4:DB68:E667:CE1F (talk) 19:22, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What makes you jump to the conclusion that “dark web folks” are communicating through Wikipedia vandalism? That’s a pretty absurd leap. Most likely it’s plane vandalism, but thankfully edits are logged, with IP addresses, making Wikipedia a pretty poor medium for “dark web folks”. 2600:1700:B14:8B80:1021:433C:1F8:C383 (talk) 07:06, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
