Finland is not a Scandinavian country and the terms are not interchangable. If it includes Finland, then it is Nordic, not Scandinavian.

Respectfully, it’d actually be the other way around. Geographically, Finland has some land on the Scandinavian peninsula. Linguistically, it does not have a Nordic language (though this is complicated due to the historical use of the Swedish language in Finland at an administrative level, and among Finnish people due to trade with Swedes).
Regardless, seems logical that it remain here, Finland is often organized alongside the Scandinavian and Nordic nations, even if it is not as similar to the rest as the others are to one another. La rodman (talk) 00:56, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
