[edit]The Red-Blue contrast is too bright, maybe the colors can still be adjusted for better viewing. --125.60.241.140 18:25, 26 July 2006 (UTC)drakulita
- We really can't do anything, they're the team colors... --Howard the Duck 12:42, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- It looks quite dark to me, which is defined as "pleasant to the eyes". Should we add red, green and dark blue (because of the cup) in the team colors? I'll wait for the go signal. TruPepitoMTalk To Me 01:49, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- The "team colors" are the colors that appear on the uniform excluding the logo. For example, the Ateneo Blue Eagles' colors are blue and white, not blue, white, red and gold. There's this convoluted desire to add all hues that appear on the logo as the "team colors". This means teams such as Rain or Shine have a multitude of "colors" via the red-yellow color gradient in the flaming basketball. –HTD 12:12, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]This is the best pro sports team name ever. --AW (talk) 04:28, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

- Spoiler alert: Some of the food stops in Petron (it's easy and painful to be related with the Blaze Boosters)are with a San Mig Coffee trademark, yet some are named as "Treats" with the crocodile on a skateboard. TruPepitoMTalk To Me 01:49, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Actual Name
[edit]Is the new name of the team "Magnolia Hotshots" or "Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok"? The logo released shows the latter but most of the media call it as the former. If it is the latter, then this will be what Ginebra and, formerly, Talk 'N Text have. The long, hard way to go. Peach Pits 13:10, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
- It seems it is the latter since the team's official twitter account is named as such. However, I only found one news article (CNN) that supports the latter. Let's wait and see, but I think it would probably be "Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok". Babymissfortune 14:14, 28 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello
[edit]Is it Magnolia Hotshots or Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots? As I have browsed the internet, I found that the X account of this team uses the longer name, and also in the PBA website. WhiteStar2000 (talk) 11:08, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- @WhiteStar2000 See WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAME. There's no need to use the official, longer name, unless it can be proven that that name is indeed the common name that is widely used by news articles. If y'all think that's the case, you can always submit a WP:RM. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 13:47, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
