I've just moved a previous, independent draft for article on Ruth Leach Amonette to Talk:Ruth Leach Amonette/independent previous draft.
I noticed mention here on SarahStierch talk page of independent draft of article on Ruth Leach Amonette having been prepared and submitted under Articles For Creation process by editor Suziejprince, prior to editor SarahStierch creating the article currently here, unaware of the draft in progress. And I see a bureaucratic, bot-type notice at User talk:Suziejprince#Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Ruth Leach Amonette concern that the draft article would eventually be deleted from AFC. So I moved it to a Talk page here, where it is not in mainspace so does not violate anything and can persist indefinitely, and so that editors here can possibly capture and re-use any information from the independent draft, and so that record of the independent draft remains. Frankly, i agree that the AFC process is not working well, and I am sorry that some new contibutors are turned off by their first experiences. I hope/expect this retrieval of the draft will meet everybody's approval, hope this helps. Sincerely, --doncram00:00, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
