Bias
[edit]This page sounds like it's been taken straight from the school's Prospectus. I hardly think the "delightful garden setting" of the boarding house needs to be elaborated on, and many of the headings only have a sentence or two of content! How is it that the "Transportation" is included, but the House system isn't? I'll get around to working on the article, but if anyone wants to help out beforehand, that would be great. Note to staff member who probably wrote this article: wikipedia is not an advertising service. InSurreality 12:18, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
So I finally changed the article a bit. I deleted non-essential things that basically said "PLC encourages their students to take leadership positions". They don't add anything to the article, and they're not verifiable anyway. I added information about the House system, and altered the section on curriculum - hopefully that's clearer now. Deleted statistics on the results, since it wasn't cited, and not entirely relevant to article anyway. Things that I plan to also add include information on Patchwork, the Henry Handel Richardson scandal, and perhaps more detail on things like School Debating. If anyone has any information about when they added the last two Houses to Senior school, and when/why "Atholl" changed to having a double "L", that would also be greatly appreciated. insurreality 04:39, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
