Common sense people, common sense
[edit]I see there is no reference to the US SR71 Blackbird Project which relied heavily on Titanium which the US had only a limited supply. The Soviet Union on the other hand had a huge supply and tried making Pots and Pans out of it. Unfortunately for the Soviets Titanium does not transfer heat well so they ended up with Warehouses filled with it. The US sent a salesman to buy all of their Titanium Cookware telling then it would ell in the US. It was all turned into SR71 Black Birds and other Military Hardware.
