Wikipedia Bias
[edit]Pretty much every article on this website that is even politically adjacent reads as a hit piece against conservatives and Republicans. How does one challenge the neutrality of this entire site? 160.2.241.222 (talk) 20:46, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- What specific concerns do you have with this specific article? QuicoleJR (talk) 14:25, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Really a waste of time, this is not a forum, best to just revert this sort of edit. Doug Weller talk 14:40, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry too much about them (160.2.241.222) providing specific concerns. If they had any, they'd have indicated them already. It sounds more like they're looking for some cheese to accompany their whine.Vandelay, Varnson, & Van Nostrand (talk) 15:31, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

Official Website
[edit]Is there one? Hektor (talk) 20:06, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- I was just about to ask the same thing, when candidates become President-Elect the government usually registers a domain for the transistion, Trump's I believe for the first term was americagreatagain.gov and Obama's was yeswecan.gov. Unfortunately neither Google. Bing or Yahoo! or showing any results. Not sure if this because there is no registered domain or website or they are being politically bias by not including it in the search results. YborCityJohn (talk) 17:25, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- This is referenced in the article itself @YborCityJohn and @Hektor. The Trump transition team neglected to meet the October 1 deadline to sign paperwork with the General Services Administration, who issues the .gov website link to transition teams. They have yet to sign any paperwork tardily, either. Reportedly, it's disputed on whether it's just the Trump transition simply doesn't feel they fully need the GSA's government-funded web domain and office space or if it's disagreements in the language of the ethics requirements imposed by the GSA on signed transition teams, or both of these or a combination of these and other factors. Because of this, there isn't an official website. Mortifeye (talk) 20:22, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- Ah, Ok. Thanks. YborCityJohn (talk) 21:20, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

Restructuring page
[edit]This page does not align with typical Wikipedia pages on U.S. presidential transitions. Rather than being a page regarding the actual transition team and management of the transition process, it has become a reiteration of the Political appointments by Donald Trump in his second term and Second cabinet of Donald Trump pages.
This article should be slated for an overhaul, reformatting the "Appointees" section entirely by assimilating it into a "Transition Activities" section and reformatting the structure in which personnel announcements are made to reflect our precedent seen in previous transition pages such as Presidential transition of Barack Obama and Presidential transition of Joe Biden and expanding on the information on the transition team composition itself. Matt Gaetz no longer nomination for US-AG
[edit]https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gxy2qxxpzo
News broke recently, "On X, formerly Twitter, the 42-year-old said that the controversy over his potential nomination "was unfairly becoming a distraction" to the work of the incoming Trump administration. The report included the findings of a probe sparked by allegations of sexual misconduct and illicit drug use. Gaetz has denied the claims but said that he hoped to avoid a "needlessly protracted Washington scuffle." The withdrawal of Gaetz - who Donald Trump selected to be the top US law enforcement officer - represents a setback for the president-elect."
