[edit]PILAKKAD is a lush green small village situated in VARAVOOR panchayath.It is surrounded by green hills.The village is rich with it's culture and heritage.The holly places like temples gives more holliness to this village.The main temple is sree Ramankulangara Ayyappa temple.Lord Ayyappa protect the village with his holly weapons.it is believed that,the rain will come to this village only after raining around.it's very interesting to visit this place. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.184.250.147 (talk) 14:53, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
