Relisting comment since there is not yet a consensus on how this page should be named, and since it appears that other pages may be affected by this requested move, I am relisting this and pinging editors on the other related pages to enlist their comments on this titling proposal. While I do support this move, it is not intended to appear to be a WP:SUPERVOTE nor any other biased motive for relisting and extending the comment period. But rather that this discussion currently does not have enough consensus (nor discussion/comments) to close, and that other pages which might be affected have not yet been notified. I would prefer this not to close prematurely, even though the initial 7 day comment period has expired. Tiggerjay (talk) 18:02, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Move to "Disappearance of Peter Wilson". The incident itself is more notable than the disappeared himself. Reverting back to "Disappeared (Northern Ireland)" looks weird but also ambiguous. George Ho (talk) 18:56, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Comment a user redirect this page and several others to Disappeared (Northern Ireland) while this discussion was currently open. I have reverted those changes as it resulted in the undiscussed removal of content. I have asked them on their talk page to explain, and invited them to participate in this discussion. Comment - As I said on my talkpage, I think we should merge this article—along with Gerard Evans, Columba McVeigh and Charles Armstrong—into The Disappeared. Firstly, neither of these men are notable in their own right; they're known only as being one of the Disappeared. Secondly, the articles are very short and not much else can be added to them (they're permastubs). Lastly, if we have articles for these four, for fairness sake we'd also need to have articles for all the other Disappeared. However, aside from Jean McConville and Robert Nairac, none are notable enough to warrant their own articles. If there's no backing for a merge, then Peter Wilson (Disappeared) would be my preferred title. ~Asarlaí20:44, 23 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Since his body has been found (abet 37 years later), I believe that the title of the page should be changed from “The Disappearance of ……” to “The Murder of …….” Miss E Kelly 22:26, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
