Ardian Krasniqi
[edit]Can someone tell me please, why isn't Ardian Krasniqi part of PSG squads anymore. In this revision I found that he was removed from the U19s squad. Eni.Sukthi.Durres (talk) 20:24, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Paris Saint-Germain F.C..png
[edit]File:Paris Saint-Germain F.C..png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a non-free use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- @PASCHAL AYOGU: Please don't self promote on Wikipedia. See WP:PROMOTION. Thank you and have a good day. Paul Vaurie (talk) 19:36, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
If anybody who is editing this page would like to update the "players" section that would be welcome! It's out of date because the last time it was updated was last season (2019-20). I don't feel like doing it so this is just a message to whoever may want to edit it. Thanks. Paul Vaurie (talk) 19:29, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy → Paris Saint-Germain Academy – This seems to be the official name of the academy as per this source from PSG's official website. Additionally, an "academy" is already inherently "youth" in the case of a football club, so there is no need to specify youth academy. Lastly, I don't really see WP:COMMONNAME supporting the current name. Paul Vaurie (talk) 03:05, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support: both COMMONNAME and the official name. "Paris Saint-Germain Academy" is clearly the common name (200k+ Google hits, compared to only 10k hits for "Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy", which mainly come from mirror websites, and also includes "Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy", which is not the same thing). Nehme1499 14:28, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Note: I would also change the infobox image to the Academy's specific logo. Nehme1499 14:29, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

- Support Academy is the name, and in European football context, Academy means Youth Academy. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:50, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support per above. I also updated the logo as Nehme suggested. RedPatch (talk) 16:13, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

- Support as above. GiantSnowman 18:47, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- Support - yes, other websites drop the 'youth' in this name as well as the large number of search results Google outputs for the new title at 14.9m compared to 1.9m results under the current title. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 21:11, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Paris Saint-Germain Academy → Paris Saint-Germain Youth Academy – This is the correct name per this and this. "Paris Saint-Germain Academy" is the name for a program of football camps for children across the world. It's not the name for the actual youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain FC. The old RM was a mistake on my part. The academy is usually called the "youth academy of PSG" or something along those lines most of the time too. - Oppose as suggested, and instead move to Paris Saint-Germain FC Youth Academy (i.e. including 'FC') to match parent article name. GiantSnowman 19:12, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- At least according to Paul Vaurie's first link, FC isn't part of the name of this. Adumbrativus (talk) 04:41, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: Relisting to generate a more thorough consensus. 𝚈𝚘𝚟𝚝 (𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚔𝚟𝚝) 17:33, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- I would support either move, with or without the FC. The current one is just too wrong. Paul Vaurie (talk) 02:09, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. I don't see a problem with the current title and Paris Saint-Germain FC Youth Academy does not appear to be backed by reliable sources. If there's an article for the global program, this can be revisited. Frost 14:53, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
