Nigerian-American

[edit]

There has been a minor edit war about this phrase. I'd like to get consensus on how/if to use it (both here and her sisters'). I suggest (and will update it now to reflect this - hoping people will discuss here - unless there is serious objection) that in the info box, since they have only playing on US national teams that we leave out the Nigerian. But as they are first generation Americans of Nigerian descent - and they are somewhat vocal about it, that mentioning it the lead is appropriate. I'm interested in hearing why it has been removed from either place. --John (User:Jwy/talk) 19:26, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

She has dual citizenship. I'm not sure Nigerian-American is the right way to describe her as she was born in Texas, but I think it's appropriate to at least mention her dual citizenship. —valereee (talk) 11:43, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
